Prove your Purpose

Daily Thoughts

Numbers 17:8 “…Aaron’s staff…had not only sprouted but had budded, blossomed and produced almonds”

God confirmed Aaron’s position as high-priest through the production of fruit on his staff. God confirms the gifting and purpose on your life by the fruit you are able to produce.

Purpose is defined by Produce, not just Passion

Anyone can have a great passion, or even the potential for a great purpose, but it’s only those who prove their purpose through productivity that truly take hold of it! Just as faith is dead without deeds, you’re purpose is not a reality if there is no fruit!

  • You’re not creative if you don’t create anything
  • You’re not a leader if your not serving/leading
  • You’re not sacrificial if you’re never inconvenienced

1 Samuel 17:36 “Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them…”

Killing Goliath was part of David’s purpose, however he had already proved himself by killing lions and bears before. His brothers however were soldiers who had ‘followed Saul to war’, it likely being their first time? Only David had produced the fruit of a warrior.

Are you producing fruit?
