Do not TasteDaily Thoughts
How do we live in the world but manage to not be a part of it? How do we live in a culture but not be conformed to it? We could get all legalistic and prevent physical interaction with things, not handling, not touching, not tasting, but Paul condemns that lifestyle. Instead of physically, those rules should become the attitude of our hearts!
Do not Taste the Bad.
We’ve all heard the phrase “curiosity killed the cat”, but how true that is concerning some of the temptations in our lives. We often find ourselves starting to taste new experiences and soon we find death is on our doorstep. We often find our thoughts and desires leading us astray, wanting us to meditate on them and nurse them into action. We must take every thought captive and immediately cut off our wild thoughts, fantasies and curiosities.
Do Taste God’s Goodness.
1 Peter 2:3 “now that you have tasted that the Lord is good“. Instead of tasting what the world has to offer, start to taste and explore God’s goodness in your life. Be curious about how God could bless you, start to believe for the small things, the little signs of favor and you will soon seen blessing poured over your life. Taste what God has to offer you.
