Psalm 18:25-26 “To the faithful you show yourself faithful, to the blameless you show yourself blameless, to the pure you show yourself pure, but to the crooked you show yourself shrewd”
Didn’t you ever find it so annoying as a child, when someone would copy everything you did and said to get on your nerves? You couldn’t shake them off, until you thought of something they couldn’t do and outsmart them! God does a similar thing in our lives too, not to annoy us but to bless and encourage us.
Have you ever wondered why often the best way to learn something or revise is by teaching someone else? Something is imparted into you when you give out, when we serve others, we ourselves are served at the very same time.
There is a principle within the Christian faith that is; as you give out… God gives back. Whatever we sow into our lives and the people around us, whether friendship, generosity, service, teaching, blessing, we often reap the exact same things back into our own lives.
We learn most when we teach others. We are blessed most when we bless others. We feel loved when we love. We feel forgiven when we forgive. The list goes on, as you lead and act in your life, God often responds to you in the exact same manner. So what do you desire more of in life? Greater spiritual depth? Practical blessing? More friends? To be wiser? Start sowing into that area and you will reap a harvest in your own life. You’re in control.
